Sometimes it’s important to simply sit with a sincere intention to LISTEN to be able to UNDERSTAND.

More than 90% of the times, majority of the people listen with an intention to respond or reply back.

7 Rules to follow for a day of bliss and PEACE of mind:

1) Cut Off:
We come across NEGATIVE people, people who are intentionally hurtful and obnoxious. Such people cannot be reasoned with.
So cut off contacts with such people irrespective of who they are and what they have meant to you all these years.
Because, being nice, respectful and compassionate is not a one time thing or a contractual obligation for a couple of years. It needs to be permanent. It needs to be forever.
If people don’t value your time or do not respect you, simply cut off negativity from such individuals.
Remember, You become the people you surround yourself with.

2) Ego to GO:
EGO can only allow us to GO to places which are unwelcome and filled with negativity.
We will end up either hurting our loved ones or being alone simmering in a time of guilt all alone.
So let GO of your EGO.

Jealousy is a LOUSY way of starting or ending our day. Rather than being happy for someone or getting inspired by someone, being jealous will only ruin your day further.
Never compare yourself with others.
Be happy with WHO YOU ARE.
The only thing we need to be is better than what we were 15 minutes ago.

4) Attitude of GRATITUDE:
I am always GRATEFUL and THANKFUL for all the wonderful people (friends, family and some amazing Client brand partners) over the years to have helped me reach wherever I am today.
I know I am still at an infancy stage of my life & career and there is a deep learning curve and a long way ahead. I don’t know what the future has in store for me! But whatever I have been able to accomplish, would not have been possible without the support of few of those wonderful friends, loved ones and clients who showcased trust through the journey so far.
Many times we tend to believe that the mishaps in our lives are due to others, so on those similar lines, we need to accept that the wonderful things that have happened to us too have been due to the grace and blessings of few others one way or the other.
Akele hum kuch bhi nahi …as in we are nobody when we are alone. Or when we believe even remotely that we made everything happen all on our own! So always be grateful to people who have been a great inspiration or at least a beacon of even remote hope to you for genuine reasons.
Attitude of Gratitude goes a long way in life.
It shows your character and how you are as a person / individual.
Always remember, its nice to be important but its more important to be nice.

5) Success and Failure:
I have failed more times in my life than I can remember.
It’s just that every time I fail, or I mess up, I do not post about it online 🙂
So never assume anything about anyone. Everyone has a destiny and journey of their own. Do things that make you happy, surround yourself with people who sincerely care about you, who shower you with affection and positivity not because they have to, but because they want to.
“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.” – Winston Churchill

6) Actions matter more than accolades or ideas:
In the real world, your day to day actions matter, not just your accolades or ideas.
For eg. Winning awards do not guarantee that you will continue to be the best in your field or having amazing ideas do not ensure that you will succeed unless you are ready to put things into action.
In life, ‘you either do it or you don’t, there is no try ~ Master Yoda’
So be relentless when you pursue your dream, whatever it might be.
Put your plan into execution, have clear deadlines and pursue them with all your heart but be practical.
Accept failures, mistakes etc when they happen or it will be too late.
And when you WIN: do it with grace!
Be humble and focus on your next goal.
However high you grow in life, always keep your feet grounded.

7) How will you be remembered?
Everyday when you get out of your bed and every night before you go to bed, ask yourself this question: How will you be remembered?
The answer will give you everything you need to know!

Do feel free to share your views, opinions and comments on this with me here.
Would love to hear from all of you.

Have a lovely day ahead.

Be Well
