With the ongoing COVID-19 pressures, small businesses have particularly taken massive beating. Our digital agency is no exception, but we are somehow pulling through for now

During such difficult times its easy to avoid doing the right thing

I saw a company’s social media post on twitter (a company that was dealing with a sensitive issue – Mental Health), tweeting something that was clearly offensive. It could have caused massive reputation damage to the organization & to the digital agency handling it

I tried reaching out to them securely online, but got no response. The clock was ticking!

Now, I have given my life to the field of marketing to know that this shouldn’t be posted

So I spent the next 90 minutes scanning my network, found out the digital agency handling that account & finally reached the Director content of that agency

Shared my concerns & within few minutes got a response from him saying, “You saved my job, my digital agency’s reputation. Can’t thank you enough. Our tweet was very offensive. You are our competitor. Instead of pointing it out publicly you saved the account for us. Forever indebted as a friend to you”

Business is down, morale is down, but at least number of friends is up

Be Well
