Has it ever happened to you that you have wanted to do something with lot of passion and zest but it hasn’t materialized?
OR may be you wanted to pursue a dream or passion but it just does not seem to happen!
Well, I am sure you must have heard of the quote ‘Surround yourself with people who have the same Goal as yours‘
Why is that relevant?
Because, not everyone has the same priority as yours!
What’s important to you might not be equally important to them.
Let’s say you want to learn something new or create a new business venture and you ask your friends and peers for support. Slowly, you realize, everyone you turn to is either giving reasons (read that as excuses) or just not responding with the gusto you would want them to.
Eventually, you too back out of the dream or the project that you were so fired up about.
This is very common and the reason is very simple, “Others do not have the same priority as you do. And that is Ok. But depending on their response or approval to build YOUR dreams or pursue your passion is just plain ridiculous.”
So yes, seek out advice, help, support, but remember, if it is really something you want to do or pursue, at the end of the day, follow your heart!
