#55SecsOrLess to Read: Focus on Goals and not apps or website for digital marketing success
This post is part of the 55 Seconds or Less Read series.
When you focus first on goals and not on apps or websites, here is what the social media and digital marketing strategy, process, flow looks like:
Step 1:
Goals: It gives you a clear idea of what you need to achieve. Be specific eg. 35% increase in sales for XYZ product in first quarter.
Step 2:
When you know what your goals are, your target audience becomes clear too. (Demographics: Gender, location, affinity etc)
Step 3:
When your goals and target audiences are clear, you are automatically confident about the platform or app or PPC or Analytics processes that you will need to achieve your digital marketing social media ROI success.
In other words, when you work in the reverse order of focusing first on which platform or what type of PPC or placement to use, which analytics to measure etc there will be chaos as the possibilities and options are endless and instead of having a plan you start jumping to conclusions which is a strict NO!
Digital marketing is a systematic process. So always work like a professional in a disciplined, structured and scientific manner. Go step by step.
Anyone can create chaos, it takes a genius to have a simplified process.
Have a great connect ahead.
